Report on awareness conducted on anti drug abuse day
An awareness programme on International Day Against Drug Abuse was organized at Sadvidya School,Vijayanagara branch on 4/7/2025 Friday, with the aim of educating students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a drug-free lifestyle.
The event began with a speech by Mr. Naveedulla Shareef — a local health care professional, Social worker District Health and Family Welfare Officer from the District Tobacco Control Cell. He shared real-life stories and highlighted the physical, mental, and social consequences of drug addiction. The School Headmistress Smt. Mamata K was also present and welcomed the guest.
A pledge ceremony was held where all the students and staff took an oath to stay away from the drugs and help others do the same.
The programme was both informative and inspiring, and it helped reinforce the importance of staying drug-free. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Physical Education teacher, Mr. B T Ramesh emphasizing the need for continuous awareness and vigilance against drug abuse.
ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ
ಸದ್ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಶಾಲೆ ವಿಜಯನಗರದ ಶಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ 4/7/2025 ರಂದು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ದುರುಪಯೋಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾನಿಕಾರಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮುಕ್ತ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ,
ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ, ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ತಂಬಾಕು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕೋಶದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ನವೀದುಲ್ಲಾ ಶರೀಫ್ ಅವರ ಭಾಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅವರು ನಿಜ ಜೀವನದ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆದ ಅನುಭವಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ವ್ಯಸನದ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು, ದೈಹಿಕ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ ಕೆ ಕೂಡ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕವಿತ. ಪಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಅಥಿತಿಗಳ ಕಿರು ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿವರ್ಗದವರು ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರು ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯುಕ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮುಕ್ತತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿತು. ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ ಟಿ ರಮೇಶ್ ಅವರ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
