With regard to the above mentioned subject, 10th std students (59 nos) and 4 staff members visited Apollo hospital to see the Hemodialysis unit on 12th July, Saturday as a part of an educational visit.
- Dr. Srinivas Nallur, the HOD of the Nephrology Department along with Dr. Praveen, Associate Consultant, Nephrology and the alumni of Sadvidya Institution, organized a session on the functioning of the kidney. They threw a lot of insight on how to maintain a healthy kidney and also the reasons for kidney failure.
- Mr. Nikhil, the technician for the unit of Haemodialysis spoke about functioning of the artificial kidneys. It was a very interesting visit for our students.
- Our special thanks to the Hon. President Professor M S K Narahari Babu Sir and our Hon. Secretary Sri M D Gopinath Sir for organizing this visit. We also thank Mr. Anand, the Marketing Executive of Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysuru for taking incharge of the overall session.

ಈ ದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡಗಳ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಮ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಂತ ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಪೋಲೋ ಃಉS ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ನೆಫ್ರಾಲಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ನಲ್ಲೂರ್ ರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್, (ನಮ್ಮ ಸದ್ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ) ರವರು ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಬಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೀಮೋಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಯೂನಿಟ್ನ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರಾದ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಮೂತ್ರಪಿಂಡಗಳ ಡಯಾಲಿಸಿಸ್ ಮಾಡುವ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಾವೇರಿ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನ ಗೌರವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್.ಕೆ ನರಹರಿ ಬಾಬುರವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗೌರವ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಎಂ.ಡಿ ಗೋಪಿನಾಥ್ ರವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನರ್ಜನೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಹ ಅಪೋಲೋ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟಿಂಗ್ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಆನಂದ್ ರವರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಮತಾ. ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂವರು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತಂಡ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸದುಪಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಭೇಟಿ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
